Enjoy The View

I hiked up this "mountain" with the Marines one time, it was an intermediate hike, easy for them, but I'm talking Tom Cruise Mission Impossible for me. I am in the Navy, I don't do hikes or climb mountains for fun hahaha, and I'm terrified of heights hahah. Half way up I'm dying, and all I could say was, "This sucks!" The Marine's ideal of fun sucks lol. When we finally made it to the top, I saw such beauty that can only be viewed through tough and terrifying circumstances, for me.

God taught me in that moment that even when in the most strenuous, trying, uncertain, fearful, persecuted, difficult times, even during a "fun" *cough* Mandatory *cough* military hike, that I can trust Him working things out for good (Roman 8:28). But I have to trust and believe in His plan, not my ways. Trust that His plan, or "view", is much more beautiful than I can imagine.

How well do we cling on to the one that says, "Trust me", Do not be afraid (Mark 5:36), I am with you (Isaiah 41:10)? Or do we try to make it on our own strength and power? When it's tough in your life and feel as though you can't go on, or it's to hard, remember God is with you; He says "I WILL help you"...Will, you even let Him? He is strengthening the relationship with you through those times, up that mountain, to see His beautiful view with Him. An overhead view that He brings to you and reveals his plans in a small fraction. He won't give the full scale but just enough to make you say, "Ahhh...wow...". Don't miss out on this view.... it's beautiful up here....trust me...trust Him!
